    We loved our family together time at this beach house, an old style beach house. The location was good and the space was what we needed. Even though it is not exactly on the beach and the walk is about 2 blocks, it was do-able. The property was sold during the year that I had placed my deposit, but the new owners honored last year's price. However, the price for next year has increased 250%. Unless there is a total renovation of the property, I can not see how the price increase can be justified. Regrettably, we will not be re-renting this property for that reason.

      Thank you for submitting your review! We will be talking with the owner about making some improvements but how great is it to see the Gulf from the top balcony??!! Also regarding rates - we are currently working on rates for 2108 so I honestly am not sure where your information about the 250% increase came from but if anyone is interested in looking at rates for 2018 we can ensure that they will be fair given market conditions!     The home is older but well maintained. The laundry is in a closet outside at the top of the steps which was a little odd, but full size washer & dryer. Walk to the beach is longer than I anticipated because you have to walk back to the public beach access about a 1/2 block. The beach around the public access was busy, but in front of the house it was not. Traffic light on 98 in this area and grocery stores less than 5 min away. Well stocked kitchen with everything that we needed and more. Would stay here again.
