Gulf World Marine Park, located in Panama City Beach, is home to a wide variety of animal species, including bottlenose dolphins, California sea lions, harbor seals, African penguins, tropical birds, and stingrays. The park is also home to the rare rough-toothed dolphins, one of the few in long-term human care in North America. Gulf World serves as both an educational facility and a major supporter of Gulf World Marine Institute, a non-profit dedicated to the rescue, rehabilitation, and release of marine mammals and sea turtles.
